Senior Tanium Support Engineer – EDR Team

Montreal, Quebec, Canada  |  Contract (until November 11, 2026)  |  Hybrid (3 days/week in Downtown Montreal)

Hourly Rate: $90.00 – $100.00 per hour INC

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Senior Tanium Support Engineer to join their EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) Team. This role involves evaluating, designing, deploying, and supporting security capabilities and processes on the Tanium platform. You will maintain technical documentation, enforce security policies, and provide expert-level support in a hybrid work environment based in Downtown Montreal.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, develop, deploy, test, and transition security capabilities and processes

• Deliver and maintain the technical documentation related to the engineering of the platform

• Provide expert support for the processes related to the platform

• Create, maintain, and ensure adherence to security policies, procedures, baselines, guidelines, and control standards

• Support the Service Delivery Management activities for the platform

Must Haves

• 5–10+ years of experience deploying and managing Endpoint Detection & Response technologies

• 3+ years of experience working with Tanium

• Previous experience with scripting languages (PowerShell/Python)

Nice to Haves

• Security certifications

• Experience as a Team Lead

• Bilingual (French and English)

 

Compensation

The hourly rate for this contract position is $90.00 to $100.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
