2026-21 - Business Analyst, Capital Markets

Overview We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with deep Capital Markets expertise to support the design and integration phases of the Metals and XVA workstreams. The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis skills, a solid understanding of financial markets products, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments across front-to-back office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete lifecycle for integrating new Financial Markets trading products into the existing product framework, covering trade execution, capture, booking, pricing, risk valuation, collateral optimization, and settlement
  • Act as the primary translator between Trading, Risk, Finance, Operations, and external vendors to harmonize bespoke product needs
  • Gather and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories
  • Create process flow diagrams, use case diagrams, and other visual representations to articulate requirements
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and vendor representatives to design and implement solutions aligned with business requirements
  • Lead and coordinate complex, multi-departmental meetings ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables
  • Lead UAT test planning, test case drafting, and execution across concurrent and complex testing workstreams
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project scope and deliverables

Must Have

  • 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in financial services or Capital Markets
  • Strong knowledge of Capital Markets products, with preference for derivatives and fixed income trading (full front-to-back)
  • Experience with risk valuation processes such as VaR, Stress Testing, and risk sensitivities
  • Proven UAT test planning and execution experience in complex environments
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across all seniority levels including Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, and Finance
  • Excellent requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with XVA or Metals trading products
  • Familiarity with regulatory landscape affecting Financial Markets
  • Experience with backlog management and solution design in a vendor integration context
  • Exposure to collateral optimization and settlement processes
