Print Production Specialist

Windsor, ON  |  Contract (11 Months)

Hourly Rate: $21.00 per hour

Overview

We are seeking a Print Production Specialist to join our client’s team in Windsor, ON. This role is approximately 75% print production with additional responsibilities supporting the mailroom and printer fleet at an automotive plant. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a friendly, consultative approach who enjoys interacting with clients in person and via email. All applicants must possess a valid driver’s licence and be seeking a long-term position.

Core Responsibilities

  • Job intake – reviewing incoming requests and confirming details with end users, including driving to the plant to consult with requestors on their print needs

  • Leading quality control with print and other departments on the team

  • Supporting all site processes in terms of print, bindery, finishing, and billing

  • Running the equipment and coordinating activities with co-workers, site lead, and client

  • Heavy client communication through email, phone calls, and visits to client offices and plant

  • Bindery and kitting

  • Back-up Docucare associate – monitoring printers in the fleet, delivering toner and supplies, and assisting with general questions and vacation coverage

  • Mailroom and admin back-up

  • Supporting admin and month-end volume tracking and billing tasks

Requirements

  • Very strong communication skills with a friendly, consultative personality

  • Valid driver’s licence

  • Desire to work in a long-term position

 

Compensation

The hourly rate for this contract position is $21.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
