About the Role
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for managing preventive maintenance programs, coordinating work with operations and maintenance teams, and ensuring reliability and efficiency across the mill’s production assets. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to optimize work order scheduling, maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards, and support long-term operational goals.
Leadership & Operations
- Manage new work requests in collaboration with operations and maintenance supervisors
- Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance plans aligned with mill maintenance objectives
- Monitor work order completion, backlog, and schedule compliance to ensure machine reliability
- Ensure materials, services, and tooling are available to perform required work efficiently
- Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team to achieve operational excellence
Training & Professional Development
- Maintain knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards relevant to the manufacturing or industrial sector
- Continuously develop technical skills to enhance troubleshooting and analytical capabilities
What You’ll Need
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards in manufacturing or industrial sectors
Compensation
The salary for this position is $90,000 – $110,000 per year. Additional compensation includes full company benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
