Junior Data Analyst

Toronto, Ontario, Canada  |  1-Year Contract  |  Hybrid (1–2 days/week in Downtown Toronto)

Pay Rate: $38.18/hour (T4)  |  $46.60/hour (Incorporated)

About the Role

The Junior Data Analyst will support data-driven decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and transforming data into meaningful insights for stakeholders across the business. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills in Excel and Power BI and demonstrated experience working with complex datasets. As part of the Audit Operations team, the analyst will contribute to operational efficiency, reporting excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Gather, clean, validate, and organize large datasets from multiple sources

• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights

• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Power BI to support reporting and decision-making

• Build automated and recurring reports that improve consistency and efficiency

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, or business analytics

• Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, Power Query, data modeling)

• Strong Power BI experience, including DAX, data modeling, dashboard development, and publishing

• Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets using various tools

• Familiarity with SQL is an asset (not required but preferred)

• Prior experience working with corporate or professional services environments is considered an asset

 

Compensation

The hourly rate for this contract position is $38.18 per hour (T4) or $46.60 per hour (Incorporated). Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
