Ideal candidate focuses on optimizing Trade & Promotion function by analyzing business and system processes, data, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions. They will work on SAP -Vistex system and integration points to SAP, focus on operations stability, and collaborate with various functional teams to resolve system issues, support end users and implement changes. Their key responsibilities include managing the smooth functioning of ERP(SAP-Vistex) system, process optimization, and ensuring data integrity.
Position Accountabilities:
Support and participate in food safety programs including SQF (Safe Quality Food)
Able to forge productive working relationships with senior business users and business managers and acquire subject matter expertise efficiently. Able to work with all levels of the organization including presenting to senior business users and managers.
Working with SAP-Vistex system functionality and other relevant technologies to optimize processes and improve operational performance. Assess potential efficiency gains and cost savings.
Developing and implementing solutions to streamline trade and promotion management, process integration, and enhance overall system performance.
Provide support to end user community by working independently. Responsible for resolving system (Vistex) and related business process issues logged by end users in ticketing system.
Ability to analyze complex cross-functional business processes, identify gaps, and define functional and integration requirements.
Analyzing trade & promotion data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in trade promotion, data visibility and overall efficiency.
Create and manage business documentation including reference guides, current and future state process maps, user stories, business requirement document, functional requirement document and system requirement specifications.
Understand Vistex configuration and manage system. Have the capability to optimize configuration
Make recommendations on leveraging and unlocking functionality within the module that has not been explored and where necessary identify enhancements required.
Working with various functional teams, including finance, sales, brand, IT, and management teams, to implement changes and ensure smooth operation.
Communicate with business SMEs to ensure expectations are kept in line with operations excellence.
Drives the definition, testing, training, and implementation of functional requirements
Support and coordinate user acceptance testing
Support the development of training materials and execution. Upon implementation, drives knowledge transfer to ERP production support.
Develop presentations for senior management to facilitate discussions on project or program progress, results, and assistance needed from them
Experience and Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Financial or Business management, Engineering discipline or equivalent years of experience in Trade & Promotion or Sales and Marketing functions a must have for this role.
Certification on Vistex module will be preferred.
5 plus years of experience preferably on SAP or any other leading ERP application focusing on maintenance, business analysis, process improvement, and Trade and Promotion system implementation support
Detail oriented, strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Certification as a Certified Business Analysis Professional is an asset
Background in CPG, Distribution, Supply Chain, or Retail industry is preferred
Advanced Excel, Visio, and Power BI (nice to have) proficiency
Knowledge of multi system integration functioning will be advantageous.
Working knowledge of agile frameworks, such as Scrum, or Kanban to deliver solutions
