Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Applications Architect with deep expertise in ServiceNow architecture and enterprise platform design. This role will lead the design, integration, and governance of complex ServiceNow implementations across multiple modules in a large, structured environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong architectural judgment, hands-on platform expertise, and the ability to translate business objectives into scalable, secure technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver ServiceNow solution architectures, standards, and reference models

• Lead architecture decisions across ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM

• Define CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping strategies aligned with enterprise data governance

• Design and document integrations and data flows using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and identity platforms (SSO/SAML/OAuth)

• Provide architectural guidance on ServiceNow Mobile App, Virtual Agent, and AI-assisted workflows

• Develop AI / Copilot-style integration architectures, guardrails, and technical recommendations

• Conduct architecture reviews and produce decision records and outcomes

• Contribute to platform roadmap planning and technical debt reduction

• Ensure all architecture deliverables meet governance, security, audit, and SDLC standards

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business priorities

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years architecting or leading complex ServiceNow implementations

• Strong hands-on experience across:

  • ITSM, ITOM, ITAM

  • CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping

  • Enterprise data governance

• Advanced integration experience including:

  • REST/SOAP APIs

  • IntegrationHub

  • MID Server

  • Monitoring/event ingestion

  • Identity integrations (SSO, SAML, OAuth)

• Strong ServiceNow development and configuration expertise:

  • JavaScript, Glide APIs

  • Flow Designer, ATF

  • Update Sets, Source Control, CI/CD

  • Performance optimization

• Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical designs

• Experience working in large, complex, or regulated environments with formal governance processes

• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM

• Architect-level recognition (CTA) is a strong asset

• Experience with:

  • ServiceNow Mobile App architecture

• Public sector or highly regulated industry experience
