ServiceNow Developer

We are seeking skilled ServiceNow Developers for a contract consulting engagement to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions that drive business transformation and operational excellence. This role is ideal for hands-on technical professionals who enjoy building scalable applications, automating workflows, and helping organizations maximize the value of their ServiceNow platforms.

What You​ Will Be Doing:

  • Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules across ITSM, ITOM, HR, and other workflow solutions
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and other technologies
  • Create and maintain scripts, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and workflow automations within the ServiceNow platform
  • Perform unit testing, quality assurance, and support user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet functional and technical standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing expert-level support for platform performance and application functionality
  • Document technical designs, configuration changes, and development processes using tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Stay current with ServiceNow updates, new features, and best practices, proactively recommending platform improvements
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring of junior developers

​Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer; Implementation Specialist certifications are a plus
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and configuring ServiceNow applications, including scripting and workflow automation
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and integration technologies (REST/SOAP, JSON/XML)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in team environments
  • Familiarity with ITSM frameworks (ITIL v3 preferred)
  • Experience with other ITSM platforms (e.g., BMC Remedy, HP Service Manager) is considered an asset
