Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our client’s team. This role involves collaborating closely with product owners, managers, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, passionate about design systems, and capable of navigating ambiguity while keeping user needs at the forefront.

Key Responsibilities

Collaboration and Communication

Partner with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders to translate business requirements into design solutions.
Collaborate effectively with developers on wireframing and prototyping to ensure cross-functional alignment.
Participate in user feedback sessions and focus groups to gather insights.
Advise teammates and stakeholders on critical design decisions and user experience strategies.
Build and deliver presentations that resonate with executive audiences, using storytelling techniques to communicate design impact.
Foster a collaborative environment by eliminating “us vs. them” mentalities and promoting shared ownership.
Simplify complex ideas and tailor communication to the audience.
Share learnings and best practices across the design team.

Design and User Experience

Design intuitive user flows and journey maps.
Consider the holistic end-to-end experience in every design decision.
Balance high-level strategic content with detailed execution.
Show creativity and innovation in design approach.
Uncover project constraints and adapt designs accordingly, proactively seeking information when needed.
Identify potential issues or gaps beyond the defined scope.
Clearly articulate design rationale and user-centered reasoning.
Apply deep understanding of the design process and design language.
Design effectively for digital mediums while following client’s brand and design system.
Contribute to and leverage design systems.
Work with design tools at both component and pixel levels.
Incorporate UX research and analytics into design iterations.

Project Management and Execution

Take ownership of the entire product lifecycle, from discovery through delivery.
Create maintainable and scalable design files.
Demonstrate adaptability in challenging or ambiguous situations.
Analyze factors contributing to ambiguity and identify ways to move forward with limited data.
Understand business objectives and create new value streams through design.
Approach issues from multiple perspectives to uncover innovative solutions.
Drive positive outcomes through open-mindedness and collaboration.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience as a Product Designer, ideally in complex digital ecosystems.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
Expertise in design systems and tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar.
Experience using Jira or equivalent project management tools.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution.
Strong storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences.
Demonstrated experience using UX research and analytics to inform design.
Passion for high-quality, user-centered design.
