Job Responsibilities/Job Functions:
  Work collaborative with area Field Techs and Vendors to maximize the efficiencies in providing spare parts for the region.
·        Counsel, influence and support the region by maintaining spare parts inventory.
·        Develop and drive initiatives to improve department while finding financial efficiencies in the cost of operations:
Improve communication with internal clients.
Improve process flows, define and action efficiencies to improve service to internal clients.
Improve standards with a focus on providing consistent quality and volume of the department output.
·        Maintain adequate levels of spares for the wireless network.
·        Work closely with an extended team to ensure project details transfer effectively between the various individuals and departments.
·        Track project financials committed and spent to budget through recording purchase orders and invoicing.
·        Track and report on addendum requests
·        Facilitating project and other meetings as required
 
Spare Parts Coordination
  • Prime duties at the Lachine Materials Depot are:
  • Ownership of all facets of spares materials inventory control and OSD data accuracy.
  • Manage spares repair lifecycle shipping, receiving, and administering including multiple RMA process and overdue returns.
  • Manage spares on loan lifecycle shipping, receiving, and administering including overdue returns.
  • Manage day to day facility logistical organization and ensure facility is a clean and safe work environment.
Manage inventory:
  • Maintain Database accuracy.
  • Dispose of obsolete inventory
  • Triage incoming surplus into inventory or disposal
  • Quarterly review of data to determine trends in parts requirements.

Must Have:
-candidate must be bilingual (French and English)
-possibility of extension
-must be physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs
-must have Forklift certificate
-home base is Lachine office - 5 days/week
-must have their own safety equipment (boots, hat, goggles)
