About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead our IT projects from concept to delivery. This role involves managing software development teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will provide leadership, vision, and operational oversight to empower your team while delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage software development projects and ensure timely, on-budget delivery
• Represent the software development team to external teams, stakeholders, and customers
• Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and external parties

• Develop a vision for the team and work towards achieving it
• Make sound decisions benefiting both the team and company

Required Skills & Experience

• 1+ years as a Software Development Manager
• Proven IT project management experience
• 4+ years planning and leading projects across all phases
• 5+ years leading IT projects (Infrastructure, Transformation, Application Development)
• Experience with microservices in cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure (AWS preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Google Spreadsheets, including formulas, VLOOKUP, charts, graphs, pivot tables, and data models
• Demonstrated analytical, consulting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience producing and maintaining project documentation and processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $90/hour
• Contract: 6 months (extensions may be considered depending on performance)
