My client is looking for a Business Analyst – eCommerce for a contract position. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada as sponsorship is not provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business process assessments and develop strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Align business operations with out-of-the-box platform capabilities and transformation initiatives.
- Drive consensus among business units, ensuring process ownership and governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new and existing business processes.
What You’ll Do:
Business Process Optimization:
- Conduct planning sessions to improve business processes and drive process re-engineering.
- Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis and stakeholder conversations.
- Document business requirements, processes, and reports.
- Develop business cases and operating models to justify investment decisions.
Technology & Analytics Implementation:
- Provide innovative solutions to business and technical challenges.
- Lead requirements gathering and process design sessions.
- Identify pain points and recommend technology-driven solutions.
- Manage technical projects through SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Communication & Change Management:
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to key stakeholders.
- Drive organizational change through structured rollout strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (CBAP certification preferred).
- Six Sigma / Lean certification is a plus.
- 7–10 years of Business Analyst experience in complex organizations.
- Strong documentation, process mapping, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex problems and communicate solutions effectively.
