Business Analyst- Ecommerce

My client is looking for a Business Analyst – eCommerce for a contract position. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada as sponsorship is not provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business process assessments and develop strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Align business operations with out-of-the-box platform capabilities and transformation initiatives.
  • Drive consensus among business units, ensuring process ownership and governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new and existing business processes.
What You’ll Do:
Business Process Optimization:
  • Conduct planning sessions to improve business processes and drive process re-engineering.
  • Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis and stakeholder conversations.
  • Document business requirements, processes, and reports.
  • Develop business cases and operating models to justify investment decisions.
Technology & Analytics Implementation:
  • Provide innovative solutions to business and technical challenges.
  • Lead requirements gathering and process design sessions.
  • Identify pain points and recommend technology-driven solutions.
  • Manage technical projects through SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Communication & Change Management:
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to key stakeholders.
  • Drive organizational change through structured rollout strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (CBAP certification preferred).
  • Six Sigma / Lean certification is a plus.
  • 7–10 years of Business Analyst experience in complex organizations.
  • Strong documentation, process mapping, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex problems and communicate solutions effectively.
