Netcracker Devops Engineer - TIUS1909

DevOps Engineer with expertise in the Netcracker Digital BSS/OSS to join our innovative team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our Netcracker-based solutions, with a focus on automation, scalability, and reliability.

You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline processes, enhance performance, and ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for the Netcracker Cloud Solution to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure seamless integration within the existing infrastructure.

  • Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and reliability of services.

  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, scaling, and configuration of resources to support the solutions.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.

  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans, backup strategies, and failover mechanisms to ensure data integrity and system resilience.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, working closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery.

  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our DevOps processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps roles, with a focus on cloud platforms and automation.

  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.

  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalability, automation, and performance optimization

  • Experience with Netcracker products and an understanding of telecom services and products

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
