Director, Life Cycle Marketing

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Lifecycle Marketing to lead our lifecycle marketing efforts, spanning the full lifecycle, but with an emphasis on new user onboarding through Day 7 engagement. The successful candidate will manage a small team, collaborate closely with the User Acquisition team, and be responsible for delivering campaigns that result in robust client ROAS.

What you’ll do
Develop and execute comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies that drive higher user engagement, client game installations, and in-app purchases
Lead a growing team of 5-10 lifecycle campaign managers.
Lead the strategy, planning and execution of our Lifecycle/LiveOps programs.
Provide deep expertise and thought leadership on all things Lifecycle, CRM, LiveOps to help drive strategy, planning, tactical execution, and team development.
Drive revenue by leveraging end-to-end campaigns, in-app events, and consistent messaging, thereby ensuring the actual user experience aligns with the initial campaign promise.
Collaborate with the User Acquisition team to create synergy between acquisition and lifecycle marketing strategies.
Work closely with the early lifecycle team, fostering an environment of collaboration, creativity, and high performance.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including data analytics and product, to leverage data insights, identify opportunities for growth, and improve campaign performance.
Present performance analytics, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders and senior management, highlighting the impact of lifecycle marketing efforts on user behavior and retention.

What you’ll bring
Master's degree in quantitative field such as Marketing, Business, Engineering or Science or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of lifecycle and/or email marketing experience, preferably within the mobile app industry or eCommerce with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of developing and executing lifecycle strategies that positively impact user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Experience managing and scaling up teams of 6-12 individuals.
Experience managing multichannel marketing campaigns (email, SMS, push notifications, in-app messages), knowledge of CRM platforms and email marketing tools with a strong preference for LiveOps experience in a mobile app.
Exceptional analytical skills, with experience using analytics platforms and leveraging data to inform decision-making.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Familiarity with LiveOps coordination and event planning.
