Professional, Engineering – Interiors Product Strategy -MON21324

In your role, you will:

  • Develop interiors experience vision, aligned with our design and brand positioning 
  • Develop interiors product portfolio strategies for all Bombardier business aircraft platforms
  • Be the voice of the customer for current and future product development
  • Define and support development of customer-centered product improvements to aircraft cabins and interior systems (cabin furniture, cabin control and entertainment, lighting, audio, etc.)
  • Provide technical expertise and insight on Bombardier and competitive products
  • Become the reference for key aircraft interiors systems and capabilities, and associated emerging technologies
  • Work with various engineering specialties, industrial designers, and other key partners to develop and implement interiors product design and technology roadmaps
  • Develop and implement company-wide go-to-market plans that maximize market impact
  • Conduct customer feedback activities through focus groups, trade-shows, surveys, and more
  • Support marketing and branding activities
  • Support sales activities through deep technical product knowledge

 

 

Qualifications
 

As our ideal candidate,

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent work experience) with 5 years relevant work experience
  • You have prior experience in Marketing, Product Strategy or Market Analysis, a business degree is a strong asset
  • Prior experience in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Aircraft Interiors Integration, Customer Account Management, or other relevant experience would be a strong asset
  • You have a passion for the aviation industry, particularly business jets
  • bYou have a robust technical understanding of aircraft cabin interiors, associated emerging consumer technologies,  and aircraft cabin design trends
  • You can manage initiatives of a technical, financial, marketing, and general business nature
  • You are comfortable in ambiguous situations; you consider it as an opportunity to make it your own
  • You have acute critical and strategic thinking capabilities, and a curiosity to understand complex issues
  • You can summarize multifaceted situations concisely and emphasize the significant elements and take-aways
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit that constantly challenges the status quo
  • You have strong oral and written communication skills
