Must have skills:   
1. 5+ network programming experience

c. XML
3. experience with at least two of the following network operating systems and an aptitude to quickly come up to speed on new NOS: Please have candidates rate their experience with the following routing protocols and features (Strong, Modest, None):
a. Cisco XR,
b. JUNOS
c. SROS
d. ArcOS
e. SAOS
f. OcNOS
 
Nice to have skills:  
1. Experience with lab testing. Experience with Spirent or Ixia test equipment is desirable.
2. Experience with the following SDN tools is an added advantage:
a. Cisco NSO service and action packages
b. Cisco Yang Suite or Yang Explorer
c. pyang
d. postman
e. Robot Framework
3. experience with lab testing. Experience with Spirent or Ixia test equipment is desirable.

Project details:  TELUS requires contractors to assist in the development of an automated lab test harness for the selection of network router products. The programmers in this team will develop SDN mediation code and test automation scripts.
