Job Responsibilities/Job Functions:
• Assist with the successful execution of the Dedicated Locate program across various projects/programs simultaneously on-time, within scope and on budget, in a fluid fast-paced environment
• Identify and direct the introduction of new contractors, Utility owners, LSP’s, lifecycle changes of existing contractors, vendors, and One Call Centres to all appropriate parties.
• Identify overall scope, deliverables, and interdependencies to deliver on the objectives and in-service targets.
• Expertly manage project volume forecasting, cost estimating, budgeting, and control activities to meet all objectives as outlined in MSA
• Provide weekly forecast of ticket volume by City/Town/Municipality and total kilometers of civil construction by contractor to associated LSP
• Managing contractor readiness, including working with One Call Centres to create new contractor ID’s, ensuring accuracy and volume of locate requests submitted to ensure timely project completion and a great customer experience
• Build strong collaborative relationships with internal Planning and Construction Departments, Locate Service Providers, Damage Prevention Team, other Utility Owners, internal contractors, and One Call Centres to successfully deliver project milestones
• Proactively monitor, track and control locate volume and accuracy by mitigating risks and resolving issues to ensure overall business readiness for the solution
• Project Coordinator / Program Administrator will assist the Project Manager for projects in coordinating, planning, communicating, and executing the delivery of core project components to our customer. 
• The position reports to Damage Prevention Manager and supports the Manger with daily activities. 
• Preparation of communications, progress reporting and meeting agendas and minutes; Working with complex data in excel tables; Project scheduling, including action item tracking; Filing and document management;
• Conducting any other administrative tasks as required.

Job Functions:
• Good Knowledge of Locate Process.
• Degree or Diploma is an asset. 
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience (previous experience of working in a professional environment/ project management  is considered an asset).
• Possess excellent Microsoft application skills (Excel, Word and Outlook).
• Experience with MS Project would be considered an asset.
• Detail-oriented, with an emphasis on quality of work.
• Proven exceptional work-ethic, self-motivated, and highly driven.
• Good verbal communication and writing skills are essential.
• Polished "follow up" and information gathering skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Must be flexible and willing to perform other duties as required.
