Business Systems Analyst 2 - 18050

As a Business Systems Analyst contractor you will make a difference in the way  employees work. You will leverage your technical acumen, creative problem-solving, collaborating and interpersonal skills to take on a broad array of challenges and deliver operational and customer service excellence. You will be key to maintaining data integrity, functionality and enhancements within our SuccessFactors and SAP foot print, while we migrate to Employee Central through a HR transformation.

Here's how

• Act as a SME in SAP delivery
o Be the lead on translating business requests into formal business requirements and seeing them through the phases of an agile project to delivery in SAP HCM
o Ensuring our SAP system (core HR, pay, benefits and time) are properly configured and according to legislation, collective agreement, internal polices and/or best practice
o Support daily payroll, benefits, pension, and organizational management operations in the area of issue and escalation management, that includes reporting, analyzing and resolving issues
o Perform quality testing in our test and production environments, supporting all changes in your portfolio
o Lead or assist in various projects, system changes and audits.
• Operate as a Trusted Advisor and Ambassador:
o Own your relationship with our customers and be the point of contact for their requests
o Collaborate with key stakeholders to support and deliver various programs for our team members, with a slant towards the team member experience
o Support incident/escalation processes to minimize system outage time and exceed the quality of service
• Provide critical business insights and thought leadership
o Build strong relationships across the HR community and represent HR Operations at meetings both internally and externally with vendor partners
o Act as a HRIS subject matter expert and conduct systems analysis including recommendations that drive strategic solutions
o Prioritize the customer experience above all else
o Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to drive improved team member experiences

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

• Valued for your 2 to 3 years of systems delivery experience
• Expert knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint), along with Google suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail and Chat)
• Working knowledge and/or experience working in an HR environment supporting HR programs, policies and related processes
• Noted as a solid communicator and collaborator who can build strong relationships
• Talented at translating complicated and seemingly impossible asks into clear, easy to understand and doable actions to meet your customers’ requirements
• Recognized for managing numerous competing priorities and commitments with extremely high attention to detail, in an organized manner
• Comfortable with high volume work and changing environments and priorities
• Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic who owns their deliverables
• University degree or college diploma, with a slant towards Human Resources or Systems; project management slant

Must have skills:    
1. 2 to 3 years of systems delivery experience
2. Solid communicator and collaborator who can build strong relationships
3. Talented at translating complicated and seemingly impossible asks into clear, easy to understand and doable actions to meet your customers’ requirements
4. Recognized for managing numerous competing priorities and commitments with extremely high attention to detail, in an organized manner
 
Nice to have skills:
1. Working knowledge and/or experience working in an HR environment supporting HR programs, policies and related processes
2. Experience in SAP On-premise and SuccessFactors
3. Able to support change management efforts including process documentation
4. Experience building, assigning and tracking testing scenarios in Jira

Nice-to-haves

• CHRP or Payroll designation
• Previous work experience in a Human Resources or Payroll department
• Experience in SAP On-premise and SuccessFactors
• Experience working in a remote team environment
• SF certification in Onboarding, Platform, and/or Employee Central
• Experience with SAP On-premise and EC SuccessFactors transformations
• Able to support change management efforts including drafting communications, FAQ’s, intranet content
• Experience building, assigning and tracking testing scenarios in Jira
