You will join the Real Estate Operations team to provide critical onsite support to its corporate event spaces in addition to providing operational support within the building. You will act as an integral part of client's Corporate Real Estate team, responsible for the day to day administration of booking events, scheduling operations services, and providing onsite support to team members and external clients & guests. You will be the prime contact of event spaces in our Toronto office.

What You’ll do
• Monitor and coordinate all incoming booking requests
• Act as onsite manager during external events (first to arrive, last to depart)
• Schedule operations services for event spaces (movers, cleaning, security, etc)
• Schedule and lead tours of event space for confirmed and potential customers
• Invoice, collect, and process payments for internal & external events
• Proactively provide event planning support to customers
• Prepare event usage reports as needed
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Proficiency with Google Suite
• Physical aptitude to assist with lifting and moving event materials (chairs, tables, boxes, etc.)
• Report any technology issues, responsible for managing end to end support
• Support Floor Deficiency Audits, and required reporting
• Support Mobile Workstations Audits, and required reporting
• Create work order tickets to resolve issue on our TELUS floors
• As required, provide backup executive reception support (vacation, sick days)
• Provide onsite support for amenity space and common area
• Provide backup support for Corporate Concierge inbox and emails

What You Bring
• 2-3 years of experience in events or event venues
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, with regular evening and weekend
shifts determined on a week to week basis
• Strong customer service skills
• Extremely detail oriented
• Excellent organizational and project coordination skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to think proactively, and anticipate the needs or potential challenges of an
• Enthusiastic and comfortable working both in a team and independently
• Good numeracy skills
• Mature, with an excellent work ethic

• Post-secondary education in event management, marketing, or Facilities

Must have skills: 
1. excellent verbal and written skills (corresponding with all levels of management and at time executive levels
2.Excellent time management and detailed oriented (the ability to have to adapt and coordinator multiple things at once etc)
3.Excellent Problem solving skills - the ability to figure out/problem solve issues that may arise during event, booking conflicts etc

Nice to have skills:
1. ability to lift/move furniture up to 50 lbs
2. collaborate well within a team and take direct and tasks by different leaders as required
3. Flexible schedule - If required to come in later in the day and work later into the evening for events as required
