Lease Administrator (Bilingual)

Your role:
As a Lease Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining and updating lease-related documentation and ensuring data integrity; administering all leases, rents, landlord information, payables, reconciliations and tracking critical dates and generating reports as required.

Job Responsibilities:
● Review and interpret commercial telecommunication lease agreements and collateral documentation, including renewals, subleases, amending agreements, etc.
● Ensure accurate and timely updating of lease data, including tracking and maintaining critical dates
● Review rent / accounts payable as required and process billing adjustments; resolution of rent and other landlord/tenant issues and ensure timely processing of payments
● Work with accounts payable to adjust rents, cancel and re-issue payments as may be required
● Provide support to the Property Management team on lease-related matters (including, but not limited to, change in ownership of landlords, rent / hydro reconciliations, direct payment of property taxes, manage requests for insurance certificates)
● Participate in regular meetings and follow up on all action items assigned to Lease Administration
● Set up, process and maintain lease administration records (in SAP) and ensuring IFRS criteria inputs are complete and accurate in accordance with internal quality standards in a timely and high volume environment
● Special projects as assigned by manager or other team leader(s)

Required Skills:
● Intermediate 3+ Years of experience Real Estate Lease Administration in wireless telecommunications or equivalent work-related experience in Ontario and Quebec
● Knowledge and understanding of legal descriptions, land titles systems (Ontario and Quebec)
● Intermediate 3+ Years of experience with Windows OS, Google OS (MS Word, Excel and Outlook and/or Google work suite)
● Intermediate 3+ years of accounts payable experience
● Good working knowledge of SAP or similar lease administration software is an asset
● Be fluent in English and French Language and possess excellent written and oral communication
● Business degree or other real estate related certification (an asset but not mandatory)
● A Team player and able to work collaboratively and independently

Must to have skills:
1. Bilingual must be at least 8/10 in English and French Language and possess excellent written and oral communication
2. Intermediate 3+ Years of experience Real Estate Lease Administration in wireless telecommunications or equivalent work-related experience in Ontario and Quebec
3. Intermediate 3+ Years of experience with Windows OS, Google OS (MS Word, Excel and Outlook and/or Google work suite)


Nice to have skills:
1. Previous experience working from home with a remote team on a regular basis using virtual tools.
2. Comfortable using SAP as will be trained on a custom module for the role
3. Knowledge and understanding of legal descriptions, land titles systems (Ontario and Quebec)
4. Business degree or other real estate related certification (an asset but not mandatory)
