Technical BA

Description of Work:
Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for working with the business and technical team (Development and Architecture teams) to:
  • Elicit and gather requirements to support feature/capability enhancements rollout for Collibra Data Management Tool
  • Develop processes to capture and enhance metadata
  • Define and capture metadata for backlog of data assets with incomplete metadata
  • Develop training content for new processes and tool features being rolled out
  • Supports insights and enablement team in maintaining project schedule, workplan, KPI’s and other metrics
  • Supports Director of insight & enablement in the creation of product vision, goals and features
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Business analysis and requirements elicitation - Capturing and validating requirements and generating insights
  • Excellent technical and business communication skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas
  • Understanding of Data modeling principles/methods including conceptual, logical & physical Data Models
  • 3+ years experience in data analysis including technical competency in SQL, Excel/Google Sheet queries
  • Understanding of tools, such as Collibra, Google Cloud Platform, Google Analytics, Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, and SQL.
  • Business process analysis, mapping, management and problem solving - implement processes that reduce or remove obstacles that are preventing you or others from accomplishing operational and strategic business goals 
  • Project framing & business case - defining business needs and developing models for business cases, ensuring all requirements support delivery of business value, fulfills goals and objectives and meets stakeholder needs
  • Banking industry domain knowledge e.g. payments, lending, insurance, wealth management etc.
  • Nice to have organizational change management experience
