Key Responsibilities and Job Functions:
-Operational team is accountable for all operation and maintenance activities in the network.
-Work in Maintenance Window implement changes in the network.
-Work on emergency network issues.
-Good understanding of end to end 5G/VoLTE/Vowifi/IMS call flows
-Troubleshoot different network issues with the help of KPI's and traces
-work as Subject Matter Expert to drive the implementation and Testing of IMS Core and SIP interconnect platforms
-Take full accountability and ownership in all standard DevOps deliverables (integration, testing, troubleshooting) for wireless voice Voice core platforms, including but not limited to the following:
IMS Core:
-support Voice and Messaging services and Session Border Controllers to support SIP interconnects with other carriers
-Utilize cloud and virtualization tools to automate workflows, CNF/VNF platform lifecycle management, issue troubleshooting, integration validation, end to end testing, and KPI reporting.
-Contributes to technical analysis, design, and implementation.
-Troubleshoot different network issues with the help of KPI's and traces
-Manage Vendor relationships to complete their deliverables of the solution. (eg.scope of work documents, solution requirements, design specifications, acceptance test plans, MOPs, and roadmap of platform evolution).
-Co-ordinate and work closely with peer departments ( Project Management, Network Planning, Product Development, IT, Engineering, , etc…) for end-to-end service integration and implementation.
-Monitor the network using different Monitoring tools like Kalix,Grafana,ELK etc
-Provide Operational input for technical solutions related to the deployment of new services and technology.
-Perform lab implementation and validation to simulate changes in a controlled environment prior to production rollout.
-Prepare presentations and reports to management as required.
-Work in a highly motivated team environment taking on leadership responsibility when necessary
Minimum 5 years of technical experience across Wireless Networks and Cloud
Minimum of 3 years of hands on cloud computing experience.
In depth knowledge of any of the Wireless Core: 5GC/LTE/3G/IMS call flows and 3GPP architecture and its deployment and integration in large-scale carrier environments
Expert-level knowledge of 3GPP, ETSI
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Openstack
Proven ability to multi-task and deliver in order to meet tight deadlines.
Advanced troubleshooting skills for Cloud/IT Infrastructure are required.
Hands on and working knowledge of Wireless Core protocols ( LDAP,MAP, Diameter, SS7 and IP Networking)
Experience with containerizing legacy applications into cloud native functions.
CKA/Cloud certification is an asset
Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, ELK stack, software defined networking (SDN) as applicable to Wireless Packet Core
University Degree or equivalent in engineering/computer science discipline.
