As a UX writer, you’ll play a key role in creating seamless digital experiences by writing clear and usable content. Plain language comes easy to you, and you’re well-versed in micro-copy so you’ll have no problem understanding how to turn complex business problems into clear, customer-focused copy.

To help you execute your role, you’ll work alongside a cross-functional team of designers, developers, product owners, and analysts.

Here’s how
  • Delivering clear, concise interface copy for a wide range of touchpoints such as on-boarding, promos, error messages, and other user experience components
  • Gathering content requirements and information on incoming development
  • Using research and data methods such as usability testing, behavioural data, customer mental models and analytics to help inform content recommendations
  • Creating content that is thoughtful, reusable, accessible, and conveys the brand voice while shaping the product experience
  • Helping define and evolve the voice and tone
  • Working collaboratively with product owners, developers, UX and visual designers on new feature development, content patterns, user flows and product logic
  • Contributing to the overall content practice culture by continuously optimizing our standards, style guides and resources and sharing knowledge with your peers in content, design and development

You're the missing piece of the puzzle
2+ years of copywriting/editing for digital experiences
Post-secondary education with emphasis in writing or design
Detail-oriented and committed to using data and testing to make content decisions that deliver a great customer experiences
Able to gracefully receive and give feedback
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
Able to effectively manage a variety of products and diverse stakeholders
Adept at working in a highly-collaborative, lean, agile environment
Understand the importance of creating accessible content and how that applies to
WCAG 2.1 AA principles

Must to have skills: 
1. Experience writing on applications
2. 1-2+ years of experience or knowledge in UX Design
3. 2+ years in content writing

Nice to have skills: 
1. Familiarity of Agile principles
2. Previous experience in copywriting
3. Previous experience in a digital work environment
