Client Service Specialist & Compliance_170621

The client service specialist & compliance will support the firm’s business practices and provide exceptional client service. The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive can-do attitude, be able to multi-task, and thrive in a close-knit family office environment. This person is accountable through the systems and processes that are in place . The position supports and represents the advisors and the firm to clients, internal and external business partners, and the community.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY

 Client Service Specialist
o Strong client service insurance background and knowledge and ability to share knowledge and improve processes with the Team
o Handle client service requests and build trusting relationships with relevant stakeholders
o Provide requested policy details to client, business owners, assignees, accountants, etc.
o Document, record and track correspondence, and required follow up
o Update CRM, ledgers and summaries
o Manage effective follow up strategies and processes to ensure requests are met and handled, while balancing priorities o Investigate and problem solve as required and respond accordingly in a timely manner
o Process and manage policy changes, illustrations, paperwork and complete follow through of process to reissue.
o Adhere to all market conduct and compliance rules, regulations and policies for all business lines o Work with integrity and passion to do what is right and interact professionally to obtain the best outcome for clients
o Actively engage in learning and expanding your knowledge, taking ownership of your personal growth and development needs o Support team initiatives, efforts, strategies, projects as required i.e. GIB’s, Term renewals o LMA – Lead, Manage and Accountable

Compliance
o Develop, update, modify, communicate and train the Compliance Program to the Team
o Oversee / Track / Modify each segment of the Compliance Program (Privacy, AML, Business Continuity Plan, Training & Tracking, Client File retention, RISK assessment)
o Oversee and manage internal audits to meet standards set
o EOS Entrepreneurial Operating System – Integrator – oversee the EOS Team plans are executed efficiently and effectively (leadership ability and skills)
o LMA – Lead, Manage and Accountable  Additional skills, background, education, characteristics and supporting qualities:
o Life insurance background with product knowledge preferred
o Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
o Good communication skills, both verbal and written o Positive attitude and professional manner o Commitment to privacy and confidentiality for clients and the firm’s practices
o An eye for detail and accuracy
o Aptitude for numbers
