Our client is in need of a Business Analyst 2 for an initial 12-month contract, can be located in either Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver.

Description:
We’re a customer-driven team, responsible for the conversion of legacy copper customers onto our revolutionary PureFibre Network. We are looking for a dynamic business analyst to help develop and execute on our business intelligence roadmap and program enhancing analysis.

All facets of tracking the customer journey from network build to sale and install of services are required. You will utilize your data expertise to collect reporting requirements, create dashboards and analyze results to support the achievement of our ambitious goals. Your analytical abilities will help you create stories that illustrate the results of our program and the opportunities ahead of us. A broad stakeholder group will rely on your reporting to develop actionable insights focused on improving business performance.

Responsibilities:
Develop new reporting and analytics to drive and monitor performance
Build and automate KPI Dashboards
Identify business requirements and gather information from data sources
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and gain buy-in
Strength in analyzing data, translating into findings, and ability to convey into a clear compelling story

Key Skills:
You are a passionate and experienced business analyst who is able to identify business issues, analyze root causes, develop creative solutions, gain stakeholder support, and implement meaningful change.
You will successfully identify, develop and implement end to end processes and implement post mortem measurements to achieve continuous improvements
You will partner with leaders and internal stakeholders to drive key strategic programs that have a direct impact on supporting business simplification

Qualifications:
3-5 years in a similar role and/or related education with demonstrated performance
Comfort in using various tools to generate data queries and merge data from multiple sources
Advanced data analysis and visualization skills using Microsoft (MS) Excel, Tableau, or Domo
Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills with strong storytelling ability
Proven self-starter that is positive, a quick learner, self-directed, and able to work with minimal guidance
 
Must to have skills:
1. Comfort in using various tools to generate data queries and merge data from multiple sources
2. Advanced data analysis and visualization skills using Microsoft (MS) Excel, Tableau, or Domo
3. Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills with strong storytelling ability


Nice to have skills:
1. Preference for Bachelor’s degree and/or post-secondary business analyst education
2. Previous experience in a project management role or working within a project team
