Our client is in need of a Solutions Architect 3 for an initial 12-month contract in Burnaby, BC.
The Solution Architect role is focused on specialized disciplines (eg Database, Test / QA, SAP, Billing, Provisioning, etc). This role would require additional skills and knowledge unique to the discipline. Liaise with Enterprise Architecture to ensure the solutions align with the architecture vision and the strategic and tactical road maps needs. Work with Business Primes, Enterprise Architecture, other Architects, etc. to determine SLA (service level agreements) and ensure they are met. Lead and collaborate with the Project Teams, Business Systems Analysts, other Architects, etc. to create, drive and communicate the overall architectural vision, quality assurance, SAP, invoicing, procurement, etc.). These functions require additional skills and discipline-specific knowledge Liaise with the team responsible for the enterprise architecture so that solutions align with the architectural vision and strategic and tactical plans Creation of detailed application architecture plans Liaise with business partners so that solutions meet current and strategic needs Collaborate with company managers, teams responsible for architecture, other architects, etc. to define service level agreements and ensure they are respected Lead project teams, business systems analysts, other architects, etc. and collaborate with them to create, manage and communicate the architectural vision for the purpose of delivering the projects Assist the enterprise architecture team to assess vendor applications Assist in the preparation of estimates for applications based on new technologies and maintenance of existing applications Play a mentoring role with the appropriate teams and impart knowledge to them Work on several technological components or development projects to ensure accuracy, consistency, continuity and efficiency S '' ensure that the solutions are scalable, uniform.
Must to have skills:
1. Strong technical skills in enterprise computing: must understand the building blocks of IT. Thesis
include client systems and applications, networking, infrastructure, data centers, programming languages, web tools and technologies, databases and big data, and ERP
2. Microsoft Engineer disciplines and proficiencies (MCSE)
4. Data / Network Security foundations
Nice to have skills:
