Project Coordinator 1 / Coordonnateur de projet 1 -15792

The Program Coordinator will support a number of events, initiatives and projects across our Local Content portfolio. Working closely with the Program Leads, you will manage all invoices and project reporting in alignment with the CRTC and Local Content priorities. You will also manage the coordination of all community outreach, marketing and training events in addition to providing general team support.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage all invoices, contracts and project tracking for all grants, partnerships and events
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure documentation is accessible and standardized
  • Coordinate event logistics for various outreach and training events for our creator community across BC and Alberta
  • Coordinate and support the execution of marketing events and initiatives (e.g. Instagram Live sessions, YouTube community management, etc.)
  • Support the Local Content leadership team with internal sessions, process improvement initiatives and adhoc requests

  • Known for your ability to project manage and work in a highly-collaborative and cross-functional setting
  • Recognized for your strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Recognized for bringing people together, you work across groups, at all levels and provide regular project updates to maintain consistent communication across all teams
  • Valued for your event management experience
  • A strong willingness to identify opportunities and take initiative to action
  • Strong competency in Google and Microsoft Office suite
  • Commitment to supporting storytellers and stories from traditionally underrepresented communities including BIPOC, LGBTQ2S+, persons with disabilities, women and new Canadians
  • Deeply passionate about equity, diversity and inclusion, and open to incorporating inclusive best practices into work every day
Must to have skills:
1. Experience with project management/ coordination and work in a highly-collaborative and cross-functional setting
2. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize
3. Great communication skills - Recognized for bringing people together, you work across groups, at all levels and provide regular project updates to maintain consistent communication across all teams
4. Event management experience
5. Experience managing financial tracking process, monitoring and maintaining records & updating monthly spreadsheets to track and forecast all project expenses
6. Strong competency in Google and Microsoft Office suite
7. Passion and Commitment to support storytellers and stories from traditionally underrepresented communities including BIPOC, LGBTQ2S+, persons with disabilities, women and new Canadians

Nice to have skills:
1. Experience with social media and community management across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
2. Creative skillset including photography, graphic design, web design, video editing, etc.
3. Experience coordinating and facilitating large meetings
