Our client is in need of a DevOps Engineer 2 for a 6 month initial contract in Vancouver, BC.

Education and Description:
In addition to technical skills, a qualified DevOps engineer must have the following certifications:

• Post-secondary Degree or equivalent in Computer Sciences or Engineering
• You have 5+ years of experience in Application Development and Operations
• Identity Access Management accreditations
• Cyber Security education or accreditation
• You will collaborate with internal business partners on strategic plans for enhancements to existing applications, and new project planning and implementation
• Build strong relationships with partners within the organization
• Work with external vendors, to drive value and innovation
• Strong analytical skills to support role mining
• Excellent communication skills to work with business primes on requirements for role management.
• Experience in technical documentation
• You are recognized for your ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly engaged and demanding operations-heavy setting

Technical Skills

• Strong experience and understanding of DevOps and Agile Methodology
• Knowledge and experience of object oriented programming languages such as Java
• Strong experience with GIT/GIT Hub and SVN in a DevOps context
• Strong experience with configuration of monitoring and alerting for system and application events
• Strong knowledge of Data and Analytics tools such as Splunk
• Strong knowledge of System, Network and Security Design Principals (firewall’s, subnet’s, routing, load balancing, etc)
• Database experience with MySQL, SQL and Oracle
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
• Strong understanding and conformance to Change Management Best Practices
• Architect or Administrator level experience in Identity and Access Management ( 1-2 years’ experience)
• Strong knowledge in Identity theory and methodology.
• Strong knowledge of Identity Life Cycle Management through Role Management
• Strong understanding of Role Base Access ( RBAC) theory and principles
• Experience in Identity and Access Management support, through configuration controls and identity knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of Configuration and Database Management for Cloud Identity tool solutions.
• Understanding of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Policy Based Orchestration of Identity Management and Access Control.
• Configuration of attestation controls within Identity Manager.
• Knowledge of intelligent analytics for role mining
• A Strong aptitude to drive automation and innovative solutions for manual processes across Security Services

Must to have skills:
