Business Systems Analyst 2 -

 As a Business Analyst with us, you will serve as a conduit to business users for requirements and analysis related to talent management and other native mobile and web-based application systems. You will also have the opportunity to liaise between our clients and our application developers in order to define, refine and manage system requirements. Your knowledge and experience on business analysis will enable you to work with your Business Analyst team to consult and provide recommendations for current and proposed application processes, design for development, system configurations, and functional and technical design specifications, as well as implementation support.

Responsibilities:

• Supports the Talent Management and other Application service delivery by working closely with your peers and clients to translate business requirements into a functional design/configurations for the system
• Supports functional process troubleshooting of the system, and manages the successful outcome of technical issues through incident management and related change management processes
• Analyzes business requirements, develops test criteria for quality assurance and documenting business requirements, methods and processes
• Ensures accuracy in detailed design specifications, configurations, testing documentation and user documentation
• Builds end user reports leverage the reporting tools available
• Manages configuration and security administration ensuring adherence to contractual obligations
• Coordinates, attends and manages client facing meetings, coordinates and attends internal team meetings as well as pre-sales meetings

Qualifications

Required Knowledge:

• Good knowledge of HR best practices and the ability to apply analytical problem solving, make recommendations and implement improvements, tailoring the approach to meet varying situations
• Knowledge of creating business and functional requirements for applications, unit and user acceptance testing, project planning and management
• Good understanding of relational databases, data analysis tools and reporting solutions would be a nice to have

• Ability to effectively manage tasks of varying complexity, meet deadlines, works well under pressure
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills
• Highly self-directed with the ability to work in the face of ambiguity
• Comfortable working with multi-disciplinary, cross functional team members, as well as clients and vendors across all levels
• Strong customer focus and commitment to service excellence
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Visio, Access with capabilities to produce presentations and data analysis including analytical tools, charts and graphs
• Ability to communicate with fluent English and French would be preferred

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

• Post-secondary diploma/certification in Human Resources (CHRP) or the equivalent experience demonstrated by progressive responsibilities

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of experience with Business Analysis
• Project management and project team experience considered an asset

Must to have skills:
