Business Systems Analyst 3 (15316)

Position Overview:

The primary purpose in this position is to:
• Serve as the key conduit to business stakeholders for solution requirements and analysis, and to work with solution architects / delivery team members to define and manage requirements for a set of components
• Gather using appropriate strategies business, functional and non-functional requirements in adherence to the standard methodology; provide business and application expertise,
• Document and maintain the Requirements and present to all impacted stakeholders
• Support and provide inputs to test strategies and planning
• Perform impact analysis on incoming service/support requests and assist with estimating work requests
• Participate in development of implementation strategies and plans, review detailed design specifications,
• Author user documentation and support training as needed.
• Expected to be able to attend meetings and represent Product at various levels within stakeholder organizations

Responsibilities:

• Working directly with the business users at AdjudiCare Customers, to analyze their business needs and identify the business requirements
• Work effectively with the Adjudicare team as Product Owner to resolve the business need with an appropriate solution that will meet the business requirements
• Requirements communication involving various stakeholder groups within Health and AdjudiCare customers.
• Prepare needed documentation
o Business Requirements
o Software solution Requirements Specification – Functional, non-Functional and Transition, using appropriate BSA modeling techniques, like;
 Use Cases
• Creating Epics, Writing User Stories and Defining Acceptance Criteria
• Supporting the testing / quality processes
• Self starter who can develop strong relationships to navigate other component teams and business stakeholders

• Analytical thinking and applying BSA techniques to problem solving
• Requirements Analysis and Management
• Business Process Modeling
• Creating Epics, Writing User Stories and Defining Acceptance Criteria
• Personal Organization skills that can manage work effort to provide quality service in a productive and cost effective manner
• Communication skills to express ideas in ways that are appropriate to the target audience
• Interaction skills for effective facilitation and negotiation
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

Required Knowledge:

• Strong experience with Software solution (ERP) implementation in the Health sector (experience with claims adjudication an asset)
Analytical thinking and applying BSA techniques to problem solving
• Requirements analysis
• Business Process Modelling
• Requirements management
• MS Office: Visio, Excel, Word
• Bilingual French/English is an asset

Required Skills & Abilities:

Required Professional Designation/Certification:
• University degree in business management or computer science or equivalent work experience
Required Experience:
• 5 years’ business analysis experience in software solution (ERP) implementation
