Our client is looking for a Workplace Equity Lead that will serve as an internal consultant and strategic advisor to the their team and work with cross-functional teams to create more equitable systems and processes. As a member of the Leadership Team, you will report to the Director, Digital Strategy & Transformation Enablement, and collaborate closely with Directors, Managers, team members and the vendor community to drive a more equitable workplace.
Here’s how:
- Coach and advise the Leadership Team to embed more equitable practices and behaviours
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and advise on workplace policies and strategies to facilitate more equitable decisions and outcomes (e.g. hiring, retention, succession planning, vendor selection)
- Work with diverse teams that are focused on anti-oppression efforts to mobilize action across different levels of the organization (e.g. Anti-Racism Working Group, Resource Groups)
- Establish and maintain an internal audit and reporting system to allow for effective measurement of progress to build transparency and accountability
- Partner with learning and development primes to advise on anti-oppression training opportunities
- Partner with the leadership team to strategize, build, and execute programs to best support our people
- Advocate for and elevate underrepresented groups in the workplace (e.g. Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, LGBTQ+, Persons with Disabilities)
