Senior Office Automation Developer - (13975)

Performs Coding, package configuration compliant with the required development standards, prepares component and assembly test plans, including conditions, data and expected results, and performs component and assembly testing on complex systems. May be required to act in a Technical Lead capacity Identifies and recommends system enhancements to improve or expand customer services by anticipating customer problems and recommending solutions Plans, schedules, and coordinates project design and implementation teams Expected to be able to assist or train others on technical or industry-related issues and provide effective knowledge transfer on all work performed to select employees Evaluates hardware or software product alternatives and makes recommendations.

Required / Mandatory:
-Office Automation: VBA / Experience creating and modifying user interfaces within Microsoft Access;
-Database development experience: Microsoft Access / Some form of SQL database experience / MySQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, or some other scale-able SQL system;
-Website development experience: Experience developing HTTPS front end interfaces that permit users to retrieve and update information in a database securely / Some form of experience with a programming language primarily used for website/webform development with consequential automation components / PHP/Java/Python/etc…

General requirements:
-Extensive experience using and automating around Microsof Office products: Excel | Access | Outlook;
-Must have experience working with non-technical end users for requirements gathering, system development, and updates to established systems after initial implementation;
-Must have experience working in a project environment;
-Must have experience in stakeholder management in a project environment;
-Must have experience dealing with competing priorities and prioritizing the overall project result appropriately;
-Must be proactive in identifying possible issues before they occur and implementing work-arounds or permanent resolutions to allow work to proceed in a timely manner;
-Must have experience conducting end-to-end development cycles, including: Proactive business need identification | Requirements gathering | Iterative Development/implementation cycles | End user training;
-Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work well within a mixed project team environment with users, stakeholders, and team members;
-Experience in dealing with frequently changing requirements and being able to adapt established systems to serve business/project needs (Agile or progressive elaboration projects);
-The ability to take broad/generic input from end users, propose any revised approaches deemed prudent, and make a best effort to implement something functional with the expectation of progressive updates: Includes proposing alternative approaches or use cases to users that do not necessarily understand software development or what the best approach would be to achieve the desired result.
