Ability to lead, manage and deliver Business Intelligence projects using Agile Project Management principles
Work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders, including management, business and IT
Gathers and develops requirements in order to create and maintain a detailed project schedule and/or integrated plans for multiple business intelligence initiatives
Manage development of Power BI Business Intelligence solutions that focus on continuous weekly releases incorporating enhancement requests and stakeholder feedback
Articulates and prioritizes issues and risks at management and senior executive levels and recommends mitigation strategies for decision makers
Lead and/or participate in project related meetings with technical, business and executive stakeholders
Handle stakeholder relationships to manage expectations, provide updates as required, identify and resolve potential conflicts among stakeholders
Direct project teams and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are delivered on time with high quality
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices
Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
Demonstrated experience/knowledge within the healthcare community in Ontario in a project management role, business development, health system planning and architecture, stakeholder engagement/facilitator, client service or a similar role
Previous knowledge and experience of the Ontario healthcare system/ knowledge is considered an asset
Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, MicroStrategy and other enterprise tools) and conceptual design
Broad understanding of data management, business analysis, database architecture, and information visualization
Detailed weekly release plans for multiple projects and/or integrated plans for multiple business intelligence initiatives
Monitoring, managing and documenting project status and risks on a regular basis
Supporting documentation to keep stakeholders informed about project status, issues and risks on a regular basis using Microsoft office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Teams, etc.)
Must haves:
Provides project management on multiple complex, high profile and high risk projects and initiatives
Agile project management to manage development of Power BI Business Intelligence solutions that focus on continuous weekly releases incorporating enhancement requests and stakeholder feedback
Provides project, program, and/or portfolio reporting to multi-stakeholders including technical staff members, Directors, VPs and senior executives
Understanding of IT processes and software development life cycles associated with Business Intelligence reporting tools and platforms (Power BI, MicroStrategy and other enterprise tools)
Ability to work collaboratively across portfolios and teams with a diverse group of stakeholders, including management, business and IT
